£40,000 - £48,000 + excellent benefits

Purpose of the role:

·Deputise for the Commercial Manager

·To provide business support to the Airport sector of the business.

·Develop an efficient business and project operations

·Provide performance analysis, recommendations and reports for the Airports projects, governance and operational teams to present to clients.

·Maintain existing business models and to provide in-house financial projections.

·Provide performance management support to the commercial Manager and other members of the team.

·Utilise Works Management and Accountancy tools such as SAP.

·Develop a good robust procurement strategy.

·Overseeing the cost centre management.

·Provision of accurate reports.

·Review project operational costs.

·Raise invoicing, transfer cost appropriately, ensure timesheets are processed accordingly and assist with building annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

·Liaise with various departments to achieve business objectives.

You must have:

Essential:

·Several years of experience of financial and business management with experience of contractual fee models.

·Ideally a qualified or part-qualified accountant.

·SAP or similar accounting software experience

·Organisational and prioritisation skills

·Able to work on own initiative

·Good communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

·Able to document processes and where necessary recommend improvements

·Ability to analyse complex situations and produce business strategies and contingency planning to meet business objectives.

·Mature and well proven ability to communicate and present at all levels.

·Proven ability of building strong working relationships

Desirable:

·A broad understanding of the electrical distribution systems in use at the airports.

·Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, MS Project and other bespoke software packages used in the Airport Sector.

·Able to travel around the South East.

·To possess good negotiating and influencing skills.

·Ability to manage time and to meet deadlines.

·To be skilful in decision making.

·A broad understanding of airport operations and clients requirements.

·Strong interpersonal and proven analytical skills.
